When you plan a party of any sort, your objective is to ensure that your guests have a good time, period. Your choice of entertainment, particularly if you are considering a DJ, is crucial to that end. Who you choose for your wedding reception or special event will have a greater degree of effect than any other factor, such as food and location. The DJ you choose is a direct reflection on you. Here are some important points:
Prompt return of your phone calls or Emails: I will call or email you back within 24 hours.
Willingness to meet with you: I like to meet with you to go over your event and music needs.
Is the price too good to be true? It seems that the DJ is often the last service chosen, after much of the budget is expended on a venue, food and clothing. The price I give you has no hiding costs.
What sort of documents does the DJ use to procure your business? Besides the written contract I will also give you a five page wedding reception music planner this will help you with planning out your music for such things as entrance song, first dance, cake cutting and so one.
If you are getting married at the same venue of the reception I have a ceremony music questionnaire.
Does the DJ use professional grade equipment? I use the latest sound system with two laptops (one is a back up) with a wide variety of music ranging from big band to today’s top forty. I also use professional wireless stage mics.
Will the DJ offer to meet with you AFTER signing the contract to plan your event? I will meet as often as needed at no extra cost to make sure your event goes better then you expected.
Will You Listen To My Music Suggestions? I always like to hear suggestions and I do take requests as long as they are appropriate.
Will You Listen to My Concerns and Input? Yes, I want your event to be the best.
How will you be dressed? I dress in formal wear unless you request otherwise.
How early will you be to our site to set up? One hour before event.
